Founded in 1976, Avolites is a British manufacturer of state-of-the-art lighting control consoles, dimmers and media servers for the entertainment industry, all hand built in London. Avolites' Titan and Ai family of products are chosen by discerning lighting and video professionals around the world, and for years their products have been involved in spectacular and demanding shows, projects, and installations. Leading products in lighting, dimming, networking and video make Avolites an industry leader with a portfolio of remarkable shows and makes them a favourite of Touring artists looking to present a progressive and enhanced visual experience to their audience.

In 2017, Koy Neminathan approached Backstage Academy to formalise the partnership between Avolites and the Academy.
