The Academy of Live Technology offers a unique one-day experience to explore immersive technology, including Virtual Production, 3D world building (featuring Unreal Engine), cutting-edge lighting control systems, and immersive display technology. You'll witness the creation of immersive environments through live demonstrations and gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art studio equipped with special capture, camera tracking, and large-scale LED volumes, featuring both 2D and 3D environments, including generative AI solutions.

The course will be delivered in partnership with our industry partners and well established local businesses in the creative space: Disguise & Hive, LED Visual Display provider Roe Visual and MA.

The workshop has fully funded places available for eligible creative freelancers and microbusinesses (companies consisting of 9 or less employees) in the West Yorkshire area.

It is designed not only for those working in live events production but also open to creatives in the wider West Yorkshire creative community including those working in museums, art galleries, advertising and design agencies, TV and film.
